By using realnycmap.com (“RealNYCMap”, “the service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What the service is

RealNYCMap lets you explore New York City property and related public datasets on a map, including optional SQL / natural-language queries against a shared database. It is provided for informational and research use.

Not advice

Nothing on the service is legal, financial, investment, appraisal, or professional advice. Open data can be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Always verify critical facts with primary sources (ACRIS, DOF, DOB, HPD, LPC, etc.) before you buy, sell, lend, or litigate.

Accounts

You must provide an accurate email if you register and verify it via the link we send
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential
We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (credential stuffing, scraping that harms availability, attempts to bypass SQL safety controls, etc.)

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access other users’ accounts or private data
Do not overload the service (automated hammering, unbounded scrapers)
Do not use the SQL console to probe for vulnerabilities or exfiltrate non-public system data
Do not use the service for unlawful purposes

Data sources and ownership

Underlying datasets are published by NYC agencies and other public sources. We do not claim ownership of that government data. The RealNYCMap software, branding, and site design are ours (or our licensors’). You may not imply that we endorse a transaction or listing.

Availability

We aim for good uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features, datasets, and query limits may change as we operate and scale the service.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50).
